KWALE UNITED SCRIPT HISTORY WITH FIRST-EVER RASHID ABDALLAH SUPER CUP SEMI-FINAL BERTH

Kwale United has made history in the Rashid Abdallah Super Cup competition in its seventh season by reaching the semi-final stage for the first time since the tournament was established.
The team from the town of Kwale secured that spot after defeating their neighbours, Generation FC of Msambweni, 4-2 on penalties following a 2-2 draw in regular time.
That victory placed Kwale United in the tournament’s quarter-finals, boosting hopes of lifting this season’s trophy.
Speaking after the match, Kwale United’s head coach, Shaban Suleiman Alimaruf Follan, said that although his team started poorly and conceded two early goals, his players showed fighting spirit and high-level discipline to get back into the game.
He said the ability of his players to overturn the result and eventually win on penalties demonstrates the drive and preparation they have for the upcoming stages.
The coach added that his squad is fully prepared for the semi-final matches, emphasizing that they will not treat the round as a regular game but as another opportunity to make history in the competition.
He also praised the players, the technical bench and all stakeholders supporting the team, saying the success stems from unity and collective effort.
He stressed that despite celebrating the stage they have reached, Kwale United’s main goal this season is to qualify for the final and compete for the championship.
