AISHA SARINGE: POLITICIANS IN MY DMs, SOME WANT NOODLES, OTHERS WANT A MALDIVES VACATION!

Aisha Saringe, the model featured in Bien-Aimé Baraza’s I’ll Be Okay music video, has revealed that politicians are among the men who have been contacting her privately on social media.
Saringe said some of the messages have surprised her, with approaches reportedly involving job offers, financial promises and holiday invitations.
“I didn’t know some of the politicians are jokers like that,” she said during a radio interview.
She also remarked, “Nilikuwa nadhani wanatudanganyanga tu kwa ground. Kumbe hadi DMs,” suggesting that the approaches had changed how she viewed politicians’ conduct outside their public engagements.
Saringe’s revelations come after her appearance in I’ll Be Okay attracted public attention, increasing interest in her personal life and career.
She has not publicly identified the politicians involved, and the details of the alleged offers have not been independently verified.
How Bien’s ‘I’ll Be Okay’ Changed Her Public Profile
Saringe plays the female lead in Bien’s I’ll Be Okay, a song centred on heartbreak and the process of moving on after a relationship ends.
Her appearance in the video attracted attention from viewers, many of whom became interested in learning more about the model behind the on-screen character.
Although the project has introduced her to a wider audience, Saringe had already been working in the entertainment industry for several years before the release.
She began working as a video model in 2020, with her first music video appearance being in Laga, a song by UK-based artiste Millions.
She has since worked with several Kenyan musicians, including Bahati, Benzema, Kahush, Scom, Katinali and Breeder. Her previous projects include Bahati’s DRX in 2021 and Mambo ya Mhesh in 2022.
Saringe is also a presenter and cosmetologist, with her work spanning different areas of the entertainment and beauty industries.
Growing Attention and New Opportunities
The attention surrounding Saringe highlights how appearances in popular music videos can increase the visibility of models and introduce them to audiences beyond their established professional circles.
For Saringe, the exposure has brought new public interest in her career and personal life, alongside the private messages she says she continues to receive.
Her latest revelations have also sparked discussion about how public figures interact with personalities who gain popularity online.
However, without the identities of the politicians or independent confirmation of the alleged offers, the claims remain based on Saringe’s account of her experiences.
For now, the model continues to attract attention following her appearance in Bien’s music video, with her revelations about politicians’ direct messages providing another talking point in Kenya’s entertainment scene.
